This past year was a difficult year for many of us. As the year unfolded we each experienced political and social unrest leading to protest, natural disasters that left our country and many others devastated, and a global pandemic that cleared out grocery stores across America, shut down businesses, closed off contact to family and friends and so much more. For the last year we have been managing, some of us just maintaining. The team at Parkinson Association of the Carolinas wants each of you to know that we hear you, and we are here to keep pushing forward together.
To acknowledge the anniversary of the Coronavirus lockdown, on March 17, 2021 and continuing on the the third Wednesday of every month at 3:30PM, we invite everyone from our community whether you are a person with Parkinson’s, caregiver, community member, or industry leader to join us for our Wellness Wednesday program in hopes of beginning a journey of healing and wellness together.
What is Wellness Wednesday?
Every month beginning March 17th, 2021, we will have a new speaker, professional, or staff member join us via Zoom to discuss self-care, deep breathing, strategies for coping with stress and much more.
These meetings are open to everyone and are meant to give each of you a moment to check-in with yourself and your community. Documents, videos, blogs, tips and much more will be made available on bottom of this page as well.
