2020 Caregiver Summit
Scholarship Opportunity for Support Group Leaders
Saturday, May 16, 2020
DEADLINE TO ENTER: JANUARY 3, 2020

A big part of making life better for people with Parkinson’s
is taking care of the people who care for them. Each person
with Parkinson’s is unique, and so is each care partner. Care
partners have an enormous, often underappreciated job. The
2020 Parkinson’s Foundation Care Partner Summit | Cumbre
Para Cuidadores was designed with care partners in mind,
and is recommended for anyone caring for someone living
with PD, including spouses, partners, children or friends.
We know how important Support Group Leaders are to the Parkinson’s Community, so we created this scholarship
opportunity to make sure that you are able to attend
our Care Partner Summit and share the experience
with your group.

Scholarships up to $1,000 are available to support costs associated with travel to the Summit.
Preference will be given to support group leaders who are also former or current caregivers/care
partners of a loved one with PD.

needs in the Parkinson’s community. Since 2011, the Parkinson's Foundation has funded more than 338 community-based programs that make life better for people living with PD.

During this grant cycle, the Parkinson’s Foundation will award $1.5 million in community grants,
ranging from a minimum of $5,000 to a maximum of $25,000 per grant application.
